Appointed by Batavia City Council April 2015.  Presiding over criminal, traffic, civil, small claims, commercial claims; housing code violations; night-time arraignments; Drug and Mental Health Treatment Court conflicts; and other matters brought before the largest municipal court in Genesee County.  Regular contact and close collaboration with a multitude of levels of County/City government and private agencies including the Genesee County Sheriff’s Department, NYS Police; Batavia City Police Department; District Attorney’s Office, Public Defender’s Office, GCASA; Horizon Health Services; Genesee County Probation Department and Genesee County Mental Health among others.  Only trained and certified Accessible Magistrate in Batavia City Court for Raise the Age (“RTA”) initiative.
